1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on external servers. All data the App creates is stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults and local file storage).

The App does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal information to function.

2. READING PROGRESS & HIGHLIGHTS

The following data is saved locally on your device only and never leaves your device:

• Chapters you have read
• Bookmarked chapters
• Highlighted passages and featured passage preferences
• Your preferred reading language (Spanish or Tagalog)
• Your preferred font size

You can clear this data at any time by deleting the App from your device.

3. PHOTOS LIBRARY ACCESS

The App requests access to your Photos library only when you explicitly tap "Save Image" on a quote share card. This permission is used solely to save the generated image to your Camera Roll.

We do not read, scan, or access any existing photos on your device. If you deny this permission, all other App features remain fully functional. You can manage this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or social media SDKs. No data is shared with any third party.

The novel text is sourced from Project Gutenberg (public domain). The App does not make network requests to load content — all text is bundled within the App at install time.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The novel contains mature literary and historical themes appropriate for secondary school age and above.

Because the App collects no personal information from any user, it presents no special privacy risk to younger readers.

6. DATA RETENTION & DELETION

All App data exists on your device. To delete all data associated with the App, uninstall it from your device. iOS removes all associated local storage upon deletion. We have no copy of your data and cannot delete it on your behalf.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If this Privacy Policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
