Privacy Policy

Kabayan Radio ("the app," "we," "us") is developed by Works of Bryan. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Kabayan Radio is built to work with as little personal data as possible.

01Information we collect

Kabayan Radio does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information to use the app.

• Favorites & settings — the stations you favorite and your app preferences are stored locally on your device only. They are never sent to our servers.
• Streaming data — when you play a station, your device connects directly to that station's own streaming server (via standard Icecast/Shoutcast protocols) to receive the audio. That connection is between your device and the station provider, not Kabayan Radio.
• Diagnostic data — if enabled on your device, Apple may share anonymous crash and performance data with us through App Store Connect. This data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to you personally.

02Information we do not collect

• No account registration or login credentials
• No precise location tracking
• No contacts, photos, or microphone access
• No advertising identifiers or third-party ad tracking
• No sale of personal data — we have none to sell

03Third-party radio stations

Kabayan Radio streams audio from independently operated FM/AM stations across the Philippines. Each station's own website or app may have its own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover. We recommend reviewing a station's own policy if you have questions about their stream.

04Data storage & security

All app preferences (favorites, last-played station) are stored using Apple's on-device storage frameworks and are protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). This data is included in your device backups if you have iCloud or local backups enabled, and is removed if you delete the app.

05Children's privacy

Kabayan Radio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Since the app requires no account and no personal information, no such data is collected regardless of user age.

06Your choices

• You can clear all favorites and local app data at any time by deleting and reinstalling the app.
• You can disable diagnostic sharing in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

07Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's release notes.
